     For some reason it appears that Charles Holloway adopted the surnamePearce at the time of Nessie's marriage to Robert Mulligan. He wasburied with this surname at his death in 1914. Evidence that CharlesHolloway & Charles Pearce are the same person can be seen from theDeath Certificate of his wife Martha Jane who retained the Hollowaysurname at her death in 1924.
