     Born at New Road Holywell. At the time of his marriage to MargaretThomas in 1878 he was living at 3, Mersey Place, Birkenhead and was aTailor at John Smith & Son (Chester) in Eastgate Row. By the 1901Census he had moved to 62 Cornwall Street, Newtown, Chester where theylived for 26 years (Margaret Holland press cutting). The family movedacross the road to 53 Cornwall St until the death of Aunty Kit in1979.

He returnedto live with Aunty Kit and Aunty Emily at 53 Cornwall Street in theearly 1960's up until his death in 1968.
