Individual Note: It is clear that following the death of William in May 1869 andHarriet in November the same year that both Arthur and Alfred weresent to an Orphanage in Gloucestershire. The 1871 Census shows themboth in Orphanage no 2 along with several hundred other very youngchildren from all over the country.
