Marriage Note: Source:    The Pennant Estate papers include the the pre-nuptial settlement of Gefrrey Hollande, son and heir of Hugh Hollande, and Jane verch John, daughter of John Owen ap John ap Robyn, 20 March 1539/40,

Family Note:   The Griffith Pedigree is clearly incorrect as giving the date of marriage as 1568 as a carved stone found in the grounds of the houseand removed indoors, indicates that part of the house was erected by Jeffrey and Jane bis wife in 1543. Hugh Howell Edwards pedigree gives1540 which would appear to be much more reliable.
